Memphis in May is a great time to enjoy a wide variety of music, good food, and beautiful sunsets by the Mississippi River in Tommy Lee Park.
You can walk down Beale Street and have a drink at one of the many restaurants/bars on your way to the park.

My best girlfriend and I have been friends for almost 30 years. We take at least one weekend trip to Tennessee each year to get away from husbands and family for a “Girls Only” weekend. Our Tennessee Vacation

Two summers ago my husband and I and our 12-year-old daughter took a road trip from Mt. Holly, NJ to Nashville and Memphis. It was August and of course, Elvis month! We had a fantastic time at Graceland. We also visited the Civil Rights Museum—what a moving experience!
