Our Tennessee Vacation

Things To Do, Attractions, Cullinary, History and Heritage, Uncategorized

Two summers ago my husband and I and our 12-year-old daughter took a road trip from Mt. Holly, NJ to Nashville and Memphis. It was August and of course, Elvis month! We had a fantastic time at Graceland. We also visited the Civil Rights Museum—what a moving experience!

In Nashville we stayed at Gaylord Opryland. Trees, plants, restaurants, a river, boats, music, dancing and lots of fun—all enclosed by glass! It was the best place we ever stayed. The Country Music Hall Fame is a must-see, even if you’re not a country music fan! The food was great, everywhere and the ribs in Memphis at the Rendevous were excellent! Loved our Tennessee road trip!
