Things To Do, Nature and Outdoors

After my boyfriend and I had dated for almost 2 years, we decided that it was time to get married. We talked about it, and we both agreed: neither one of us wanted the headache of planning a big wedding and worrying about details, but we did want a few friends and family around. We live in Middle Tennessee, and some friends & family are in Chattanooga, so we wanted to get married somewhere that was convenient for everybody.

After much research, I found a B & B in Lynchburg, TN called Dream Fields. Deciding to go with the Elopement Package there was the best decision that we could have made. We got married in the gazebo, right on the town square. The manager of Dream Fields took care of getting my flowers & my husband’s boutiniere; she also ordered a cake to match my flowers, and she set up the cake in our cottage while we all went out to eat after the ceremony. She even let us bring our dog!

And she made the best breakfast, ever! Included in the package was even a horse & buggy ride through the country. It is beautiful in Lynchburg. Of course we went to Jack Daniels Distillery; who could go to Lynchburg and not tour the distillery? We also spent time walking around the square, visiting all of the stores. Plenty of good places to eat.

Because of gas prices, we’re planning on keeping our vacations in Tennessee for a while, so I’m sure that I’ll have another story before too long.
