I love getting away in Tennessee. You don’t have to travel far to feel like you’re in a different world. It is my goal to visit all the Tennessee State Parks. So far I’ve visited 16. I have my favorites, but I have enjoyed every one of the State Parks for different reasons.
I went to Fall Creek Falls one weekend to study for my calculus finals. I had a room in the inn with a beautiful view of the lake. It was so peaceful and relaxing. I was able to do a lot of studying. The fitness center was right across the hall from my room. So, I was able to work off some “studying” stress.
The next day I hiked with books in tow. I was able to finish my studying while basking in the sun and enjoying the spectacular views. And yes, I did pass my calculus exam!! A great feat for a Tennessee lady over fifty.
