My Tennessee story starts with a family vacation to Gatlinburg in 1996. WOW! I was blown away by its breathtaking beauty. The Smoky Mountains are incredible. We enjoyed that vacation so much that we stayed for 3 weeks, a week longer than orignially planned. I am glad we took this trip because my in-laws enjoyed it so, and it was one of our last trips.
I, however, have been back six more times, both with and without my husband. Each time it is as beautiful as the next. There have been some changes to the area. More shopping! What fun, beautiful scenery and I can shop too. The people couldn’t be more friendly. If there were any place I could move to it would be the Smoky Mountains!
And, yes, we saw bears, too!
