World’s Biggest Fish Fry Family Fun
Things To Do, Attractions, Cullinary, Sports and Recreation
For three generations my family has enjoyed the annual World’s Biggest Fish Fry the last week of April in Paris, TN. It’s a week-long event filled with fun for the whole family, starting with the carnival several nights that week. A trip to the Rodeo. Watching and getting a good start on a tan at the parade with entrants from all over the region and the grandest floats. Kids use to skip school to go to the parade, so finally they made it a school holiday.
There’s always great eatings from fresh fried catfish and all the fixings that go with it. Over the years my family has enjoyed other events during the fish fry, like the bed races, catfish faces, fishing contests, street dances, and a parade for the little ones, which both of my children participated in over the years. It’s always great to go to the parade or carnival to see old friends you haven’t seen in a while.
My granddaughter is excited and looks forward to the fish fry every year. She’s four and this will be her third trip this year. There’s lot of rides for her at the carnival and rides for the older kids too. There’s tons of other events we enjoy as well. It’s one of the best annual events in the state. Come on over, and enjoy our festivities.
